I know you’ve all been waiting with baited breath for the new FlashDen competition - and here it is!
FlashDen has recently updated the Asset Library and are now asking for submissions for those of you who wish to contribute. To make this a bit more fun (and because we just like competitions) we will be holding an Asset Competition!
How does it work?
Until April 3rd, midnight Australian Standard Time, any author can upload as many assets as they like. Assets can be photographs, videos, audio effects/loops, fonts, or anything you think might be useful that we haven’t thought of!
Entries will be reviewed just as files are, and all the approved assets will be posted into the asset library after April 3rd where people can begin to use them (NB. Make sure you agree to the terms of use of the asset library BEFORE uploading your files).
Next, a team of FlashDen staff will choose the top 20 entries - the assets that are the best, most useful, prettiest, and generally most elite on the site. Then it’s your turn! We’ll ask you to make the final call and vote for your favourite asset!
The prizes
The asset with the most votes will win its author US$500 in cold hard cash! The author will headline a feature on this blog (which will sit on the home page by then), and we will of course do our best to plug their files for all they’re worth!
The next three entries with the most votes will also be profiled on the blog and will each receive a US$100 FlashDen voucher.
Terms and conditions
- Entry is open to any FlashDen author who is NOT a paid staff member.
- Any approved file uploaded between 11:59PM March 1st 2008 and 11:59PM April 3rd 2008 (Australian Eastern Standard Time) is eligible.
- Payment to the first prize winner will be made via Paypal and will be in US dollars. FlashDen vouchers will be deposited straight into the relevant author accounts.
- In the event that two assets receive the exact same number of votes, the competition will be extended for 1 week to decide a winner. This process will be repeated until a clear order has been determined.
- The 20 finalists will be selected solely at the discretion of FlashDen and its staff.
- Our decision is final.
- Questions and clarifications, contact us.
Good luck!
