As a web developer and project manager currently in the travel/tourism industry, I would love to be more versed in Flash as my experience with it has typically left me wanting more. Additionally, I am highly active in advanced photoshop techniques, and it would be awesome if I could see what the best in the world has to offer in this regard.
The Flash community is one that I have had very little interaction with thus far, and the primary barrier for me into Flash is thus far I have found its usage more prohibitive than accessible. If I was able to go to FITC, I would likely have much of these reservations removed and could become a much more involved participant in the Flash community.

It would be so cool to go Korea to attend a Flash only event and meet new people. Why should I be picked? Because if you don’t I will kill your family … jk lol I should go because I am stuck in my house all day working freelance and I need a breathe of fresh air, and need I say that I get a lot of my stuff from flashden.com! I need a vacation and while on that vacation I am still learning and growing as a designer. That would be awesome, so yeah pick me!

I’ve loved flash since “the Joesterizer 10 speed Frog Bender 2000″. After that i’ve learned all about AS2 thanks to the Flash MX Tutorial (do you remember the orange car?). A lot of time has gone playing with MovieClip and the TimeLine, and now I work with flash with some little profit. For enhancing my skills and realize a life dream, please choose me.
I will not blend you.

Hi,
I’m from Mauritius and and such events have does not exist in here. If i got such opportunity, am sure that it could help me develop my skills in flash, meet flash designers, have contacts, etc …
Actually am freelance web designer and am hoping to build up a small enterprise in the future. Am also studying 3d modeling at university on a part-time basic as am sure in the future 3d animations will be a plus for designers.
I also wanted to go to such conference but unfortunately, i don’t have the money to do it as university is expensive and anyway, just for example, 1$ = 30 Mauritian Rupees. Thus i can’t afford.
If am chosen, am sure this conference will give me a lot of opportunities as well as help me develop my skills.
Thanks any way to flashden for organizing such a pool.

I would like 2 totally awesome free tickets because I would really like to learn a lot more about the awesomeness of Flash and learn from the greats. Also, if totally sweet people are presenting, I will listen intensely and applaud enthusiastically when they are finished.

Attention judges;
Firstly, you are all looking mighty dapper today.
Please pick me because I will wear a brightly colored t-shirt with FLASH DEN’s logo on the front and back. I will also adorn your wonderful logo on all my luggage, hats, shoes, pants and anything else it can be sewn/stuck/glued/nailed or placed on/in/around or over. Hell, I’ll get a tattoo of it, if my wife lets me.
Pick me please. It would also look *awesome* on my resumé.
Thank you for your time.
PS. pick me

Recently there has been a serious breakout causing those with flash awesomeness rot in their own pool of scripts.. Some of them decide to unplug their sockets and lock themselves in their rooms; others just dive into random alternatives and fake hobbies. As cheesy as it may sound, I am one of the very few of its own kind left which need the occasional, rare boast of knowledge to keep things alive.
