Yesterday we mentioned it was on its way, and today I’m happy to announce that AudioJungle is officially online. You can access it via the top right of FlashDen where there is a little Flash | Audio switcher.

It’s a bit of a quiet launch today as we’re still running early tests to see how it performs out in the wild so to speak. Then tomorrow the marketing will begin as we work to get AudioJungle known and recognised, and of course to boost our audio author’s sales!

Some important highlights:

  • Your regular FlashDen account works across both sites
So there’s no need to worry about new accounts or balances.
  • We’ve updated the way thumbnails on audio files work
Thumbs now show a user’s avatar in the background. We’ll be updating this further to allow users to add any image to any file. We see this as a great way for authors to brand their audio files and make them stand out.
  • We now has a sister blog over at In The Jungle
And it’s decked out in similar style and hosting AudioJungle’s first competition to win an Axiom 61 Midi Controller
  • More Updates & Features Coming Soon
We’re finishing off some tweaks to the new double site referral program, more forum areas and a few other updates that we hope will help see AudioJungle expand and grow into a thriving audio community. So look out for updates on the AJ blog.
